2021 Spring Soccer

Registration will open March 8 and close March 20. Any children registered after March 20 will be placed on a wait list and may be released to a team based on the number of volunteer coaches we have. That said, please consider coaching. No experience is needed and it is so rewarding ... and fun! All parents will obviously coach their child(ren)'s team, too.

That said, this season will look a little different than what we have been used to.

Our governing body, the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA) has put out a document on rules and restrictions due to COVID-19.

Basically, ALL players, coaches, officials and spectators must wear masks/facial coverings and spectators must practice social distancing while at games and practices.

We realize that this is not 100 percent ideal, but we feel lucky enough that we are getting back on the field. It's been far too long.

Barring any unpredictable Michigan weather, the fields will all be set up the weekend of March 20-21 (if you want to help, come out to the middle school either day or both days from 1-4 p.m.) and we can start practices the week of April 5. First games for all divisions (U6, U8, U10, U12/U14) will be Saturday, April 10.

For questions relating to your division, contact your coordinator:

U6 - Amanda Pokrefky, [email protected]
U8 - Gary Ashley, [email protected]
U10 - Jenell Keller, [email protected]
U12/U14 - Matt Mackinder, [email protected]

Schedules and rosters will be completed prior to the start of the season and emailed to the parents' email that is on file with your child's registration.

Schedules are created by the coordinators and practice days and times come from individual coaches.

For U6, there is a set schedule there - every Wednesday at 6 p.m. and every Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Goodrich United Methodist Church. Fields are in the back.

Field locations - U6 (church), U8 (Oaktree Elementary fields), U10 (in front of middle school), U12/U14 (farm fields at top of hill across from middle school and field across street from Oaktree on corner before turning into drive to go towards middle school)

The last day of the season will be Saturday, June 5, which is also our annual club picnic. More info will be sent out when the time gets closer.
