Dear GSC Soccer Families,
After assessing the current situation with regards to fall rec soccer, the Goodrich Soccer Club Board of Directors has decided to cancel the season.
Due to MSYSA’s guidelines and policies for returning to play, we are following their lead as our governing body. The policies clearly state that only non-contact training is allowed at this point, which would not allow the kids to play.
Please know that safety is always our utmost concern and at this point in time, with so many variables, restrictions and intangibles, playing soccer sadly is not appropriate.
We plan on having a spring season, should it be safe to do so, and will communicate that information to you when we have it.
